Rookie Intermediate Lesson

You are considered an intermediate surfer if any of the following criteria apply to you:
- Wave Navigation: You can confidently paddle out to the peak and catch waves independently. You are proficient in riding both left and right along the face of the wave.
- Wave Comfort Zone: You feel at ease riding waves that range from waist to shoulder high. You are eager to enhance your board control skills.
- Wave Mastery: You demonstrate flexibility on your board and can consistently catch waves. You are comfortable tackling waves that are at least head high.
Our intermediate lessons are designed to help you refine your skills and gain greater control over your board, enabling you to take your surfing to the next level.

- Board Selection: Understand the art of choosing the right board that matches the specific surf conditions, optimizing your performance.
- Duck Diving: Learn the essential skill of duck diving to efficiently navigate through breaking waves and paddle out with ease.
- Board and Wave Flexibility: Enhance your flexibility on both the board and the wave, enabling smoother maneuvers and control.
- Bottom Turns and Top Turns: Develop your bottom turns and top turns, focusing on upper body movements and foot positioning for improved control and style.
- Cutback Techniques: Master the art of executing cutbacks or refine your cutback skills to add fluidity and power to your surfing.
- Advanced Maneuvers: Progress to learning advanced maneuvers such as floaters, re-entries, roundhouse cutbacks, or snaps, depending on your skill level and objectives.
